With €6.7 million of investment, Citrix has opened its upgraded facility at East Point Business Park, which will be the largest Citrix European centre within EMEA.
This revamped 49,500-sq-ft centre, home to functions including technical support, consulting services, HR shared services and a new EMEA digital sales hub, has digital tooling designed for collaboration as well as data analytics.
Citrix is also adding 30 roles on top of the 150 roles previously announced in April 2017, which will come online with immediate effect.
The Dublin facility has a potential future capacity of more than 400 employees. For details of how to apply for these positions please visit www.citrix.com/careers.
Jobs in network engineering and technical support
Citrix is looking to hire a broad range of talent to fill roles across a range of functions including network engineering, technical support, finance and sales.
The company, which first came to Ireland in 1999, has developed close links with Irish universities and Institutes of Technology to support its growth and give young people the digital skills to propel their careers on the international stage.
Its newly established sales academy will promote the development of junior sales talent, with the aim of preparing them for more senior roles with the company in the future.
Speaking at the announcement, Minister of Communications, Climate Action & Environment Richard Bruton TD said: “I am delighted to join Citrix in Eastpoint today to celebrate the opening of the company’s expanded Dublin office.
“This is an important centre for Citrix and positions Dublin as a strategically important location from which the company can serve and grow its customer base.”
Sherif Seddik, senior vice-president, sales and services, EMEA at Citrix, added: “Together with our partners, Citrix is accelerating to win the journey to the Cloud.
“The €6.7 million investment in our newly expanded Dublin centre is of strategic importance to our evolving ‘go to market’ strategy, where we will deliver superior customer sales and support across our client base, with the best talent from across Ireland.”http://www.engineersjournal.ie/2018/10/30/citrix-opens-e6-7m-dublin-centre-adds-30-roles/http://www.engineersjournal.ie/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/citrix.pnghttp://www.engineersjournal.ie/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/citrix-300x170.pngNewsdigital,IDA Ireland, jobs
