Engineers Ireland has been invited to nominate up to three candidates for consideration for appointment as ordinary members of An Bord Pleanála. Applications for this very important appointment are invited from chartered engineers who achieve the competencies as set out in the application form.

Completed application forms (download below), accompanied by a short CV (limited to two pages), must be submitted by 5pm on Friday September 14, 2018, at the latest to Ailish Tierney at: atierney@engineersireland.ie.

As per previous practice, applications will be reviewed and shortlisted by a subcommittee of the officers of Engineers Ireland, under the chairmanship of past president Dr Kieran Feighan. The preferred candidates will be notified and details will be submitted to An Bord Pleanála before Wednesday, October 17, 2018.

Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that the Engineers Ireland candidates will be selected by An Bord Pleanála, but we are confident that they will receive very serious consideration.
