BDP is an international, interdisciplinary design practice recognised for the delivery of quality buildings. The Dublin studio has been operational for 24 years since its opening in 1991. BDP’s overall practice was founded in 1961 and has offices in 12 locations.
Due to continued growth and expansion BDP recently appointed Paul Halpin to head up its structural and civil engineering department in its Dublin studio. Paul brings a wealth of Irish and international structural engineering expertise to the BDP team.
Head of Dublin studio David Brennan outlined: “BDP Dublin continues to grow and expand on the back of some notable project wins and the overall strength of the marketplace in general.
In recent times BDP’s architectural and mechanical & electrical teams have experienced consistent expansion reflecting our growing workload, secured project wins and confidence in delivering a high-quality service.
Paul’s appointment underpins our commitment to provide structural and civil services to the Dublin studio and a complete interdisciplinary design solution for all our clients.”
BDP is the first company in Ireland to be certified under BRE Global’s BIM Level 2 Business Systems Certification scheme.
BDP Dublin is currently involved in the design and delivery of some notable projects including the National Children’s Hospital; the National Gallery of Ireland; Dublin Institute of Technology – Environmental Sustainability & Health Institute (ESHI); and, internationally, the University of Essex Business School.http://www.engineersjournal.ie/2015/07/14/bdp-civil-engineering-bim-level-2-certification-first-ireland/http://www.engineersjournal.ie/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/amarka1.jpghttp://www.engineersjournal.ie/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/amarka1-300x300.jpgNewsDublin,training
