FM Ireland 2015 – for products, people and practices
24 February 2015
Facilities Management Ireland (FM Ireland), which is set to run from 4-5 March in Dublin’s RDS, is a unique opportunity for all those involved and responsible for creating and maintaining industrial and commercial facilities or government buildings and facilities to see the latest products, services and solution providers that can be of direct assistance and benefit to achieving these aims.
Free to attend, FM Ireland is uses a unique combination of conference content delivered adjacent to Ireland’s largest exhibition of suppliers with the latest in products, services and solutions that can assist Irish businesses. Maintaining the infrastructure of a business is estimated as the second-highest cost for any organisation and, with profit margins still being squeezed, a euro saved is more valuable than ever.
The challenge is how best to achieve this for your organisation. Knowing which specialists to call in, which products to use, and who to take on as a partner or contractor is key. Whilst you may not be getting hands-on yourself, it’s important to understand what’s involved so you can make informed judgments on quality, service and cost-effectiveness.
Whether you’re looking to improve your aspects linked to health and safety, fire safety, best practice in fall and arrest procedure, or sourcing new suppliers or products, at FM Ireland you can find everyone and everything you need to put your strategies into effect and make the decisions that lead to greater efficiency, return on investment and value for money.

The conference programme benefits from the active involvement of the FM Ireland’s supporting organisations, which are providing industry experts to deliver papers and case studies of direct relevance to attendees. Building on the success of last year’s event, visitors will have access to leading suppliers and service providers showcasing the latest in new ideas, new technologies and new solutions that can improve productivity and increase your return on investment.
Whether you are looking for engineering services to comply with the new regulations on refrigerants, the latest in energy management and energy solutions, cleaning technology, asset management, security or outsourcing solutions for parts or all of your infrastructural needs, FM Ireland (which incorporates Health & Safety and Fire Safety Ireland) is the event for you.
On day one, Tom Parlon, director general of the Construction Industry Federation (CIF), will be presenting a paper on the CIF’s vision of the challenges and opportunities for the construction sector in the coming months and years as well as discussing how the Construction Industry Register Ireland will impact and add value to construction companies and personnel. The rescue team will then carry out CPR and AED on the casualty. The trainers will demonstrate two different rescue methods so that the dangers and benefits are made clear to the attendee.
