Roadbridge announces two additions to its board of directors
27 November 2018
Fionn Quinlivan (left) and Colin McNamara have joined Roadbridge's Board of Directors
Fionn Quinlivan has been appointed as commercial director for Ireland, having begun work with Roadbridge in 1994 as a graduate quantity surveyor.
From there, he progressed through the company to commercial manager in 1998; estimating manager in 2010; and commercial director in 2018. He is a true example of someone who has grown with the organisation and experienced it from all levels.
Over the past 25 years, Quinlivan has gained extensive experience, both in Ireland and abroad, in the successful management of some of Roadbridge’s most prestigious projects across the motorways, marine, gas line, sewerage and large diametre water main sectors. In 2017, he completed an executive MBA with the University College Cork.
Colin McNamara is heading up a new division within the company as director for Roadbridge Nordics, so has the opportunity to introduce the ‘Roadbridge Way’ to a whole new audience.
McNamara is a civil engineer having graduated from UCD in 2000. He spent the early part of his career with one of Ireland’s leading road design consultancy and in 2006 he joined Roadbridge as design manager on the Limerick Tunnel PPP project.
Since that time, McNamara has gained extensive experience working on some of the largest and most complex projects delivered by Roadbridge and our partners in the areas of infrastructure, energy and commercial developments.
With a master’s in engineering management (UCD, 2015) and a certificate in leadership (UL, 2018), he is responsible for developing our business in Norway and Sweden.
McNamara is also an active member of Engineers Ireland and has a particular interest in raising awareness with students about the opportunities for careers in engineering and technology.
The company are looking forward to the challenge and are chomping at the bit to begin construction work in January 2019, with plenty of behind the scenes planning underway, and want to congratulate the tendering department on a fantastic submission.
