MEETA, the Irish Maintenance and Asset Management Society, in association with ESS Ltd, are inviting final-year students to submit their maintenance projects for the MEETA Student Project Award 2018

The prestigious MEETA Annual Student Project Award 2018 will be awarded to applicants who have completed a project as part of their final-year course. The project submitted must have a maintenance, reliability or asset management related theme. The assessment criteria will reflect this.

Students on an honours degree/master’s degree programme, an ordinary degree or technical programme and students on an apprenticeship programme are eligible to enter.

ESS is a national award winning services company specialising in industrial maintenance, with headquarters is in Limerick and additional offices in Cork and Dublin.

How to apply


Each applicant will be expected to submit two copies of a one-page summary of their project including their results/conclusions by Friday, September 21, 2018, and be available to present their project to a panel in October 2018. The entrants will be shortlisted and contacted by Engineers Ireland.

The winning applicant will receive a prize and may be offered the opportunity to present their project at the National Maintenance and Asset Management conference on Friday, November 30, 2018.

Submissions are to be sent to CPD Training, Engineers Ireland, 22 Clyde Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4, or emailed to cpdtraining@engineersireland.ie or sent to and to arrive at Engineers Ireland no later than Friday, September 21, 2018.
