LiveTiles to set up innovation centre and expand AI development in Sligo

Global software company LiveTiles is to establish an innovation centre in Sligo to support the further development of its design and artificial intelligence products

Global software company LiveTiles announced that it is to establish an innovation centre in Sligo to support the further development of its design and artificial intelligence (AI) products.
The project is supported by the government through IDA Ireland, with LiveTiles planning to create up to 50 jobs. This includes a number of key roles such as AI developers, marketing, management, presales and a new product solutions team that will create industry-specific digital platforms that incorporate AI.
LiveTiles CEO and co-founder Karl Redenbach said: “This is a wonderful opportunity, and we’re really excited to establish a new centre in Sligo. There is an up-and-coming technology scene here, and we look forward to working with technology businesses, universities and Microsoft in Ireland to expand our AI agenda.”
