Construction seminar to focus on health and safety issues

The Association of Consulting Engineers in Ireland (ACEI) and Engineers Ireland, in partnership with Construction Safety Week 2016, are set to host a Construction Health & Safety Seminar on Wednesday, 14 September.
The event will run from 6:30pm to 8pm and will take place in Engineers Ireland HQ in 22 Clyde Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.
Speakers at the seminar will include:
- Michael McDonagh, inspector, Health and Safety Authority
Common health and safety issues found on construction sites and recent accident trends
- Sarah Conroy, partner, Beale & Company
Recent case law in Ireland and the UK in relation to construction safety
- Dr Niall Holmes, assistant head, School of Civil & Structural Engineering
ACEI course accreditation in DIT Masters of Engineering in Sustainable Infrastructure
