‘Sustainable Processing Ireland’ is Ireland’s only event designed to change standard thinking in Irish processing. This inaugural event is being held in Dublin’s RDS on September 9-10 and is a bold departure from the norm, as the event brings together food, pharma, medtech and ICT processors under one roof.

Serving the information and communications technology (ICT), food processing, medical technology, and pharmaceuticals industries, this event aims to set the agenda and explore best practice sustainability for all business types via workshops, presentations, conferences and an exhibition.

Event director Ronan McGlade spoke enthusiastically about this event, saying: “I felt that now was the perfect time to bring representation and presentations from some of Ireland’s environmental success stories, and share them with Ireland’s business community to further cement Ireland’s economic recovery and help to sharpen Ireland’s competitive edge on the international stage.

“Delegates will have the ability to follow any of the three conference pathways, which are focused around the trinity of sustainability and ‘green business’, water, energy and waste. Here sustainability experts from Irish manufacturing will share their stories, explain how they have reduced costs, waste and promote a ‘greener’ future for Ireland and the world.”

This event is aimed at facilities managers, energy professionals and anybody with a professional interest in reducing their energy, waste or water consumption within Irish processing and it will bring together over 3,000 delegates and 62 speakers to promote renewable business.

Key event contributors Enterprise Ireland and Bord Bia will contribute champions and ‘lean’ case studies on how sustainability and good business practices now go hand in hand.

Sustainable Processing Ireland: four industries, three conferences, two workshops, one exhibition. Ireland’s premier event that brings together industry professionals and thought leaders for a two-day event in the RDS on September 9-10, 2015, which has been prompted by market demand.
