EngineersJournal.ie shortlisted for national publishing award

EngineersJournal.ie has been shortlisted in the ‘Digital Product of the Year’ category in the Irish Magazine Awards 2014, the pre-eminent awards for the publishing industry in Ireland hosted by Magazines Ireland. These will take place in the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, in Dublin’s Golden Lane, on 4 December. Your engineering website and eJournal will be up against heavy hitters like the websites for Image, Hot Press, Confetti and Ireland of the Welcomes.
One of the reasons why EngineersJournal.ie was shortlisted was its growth figures during the 12-month period from October 2013 to October 2014:
1 October 2013 to 30 September 2014:
- Annual page impressions – 201,738
- Annual visits – 82,066
- Annual unique users – 82,066
Growth over 12 months (comparing September 2013 to September 2014):
- Page impressions – 18,286 to 28,538 (64%+)
- Visits – 7,143 to 13,442 (53%+)
- Unique users – 5,420 to 10,639 (51%+)
In a typical month, EngineersJournal.ie/the eJournal serves engineers in 120 countries, with c. 13,500 visits monthly. Since its launch in March 2013, readers from 158 countries have accessed EngineersJournal.ie.
The eJournal is issued to 22,100 members of Engineers Ireland every fortnight, with an average open rate of 32.5% – some 10% above the industry average.
